MyAIFriend.chat: Talk with GPT 4o

Chat with GPT-4o again, the same model many people loved in ChatGPT. This site is free. You only pay OpenAI for what you use: a short message usually costs less than a cent, and long conversations cost a bit more.

To get started you need an API key. An API key lets you use OpenAI's models from a site or app like this one, through your own OpenAI account. Getting one takes about 5 minutes:

    Sign in to OpenAI's developer siteGo to platform.openai.com and sign up, or log in with your existing ChatGPT account.

    Add creditGo to the billing page, click Add payment details, and buy credit. The minimum is $5, which is plenty to start. During checkout, you can switch off auto-reload if you don't want to be charged again automatically. A ChatGPT Plus subscription doesn't cover this; it's billed separately.

    Create your keyGo to the API keys page and click Create new secret key. If you see an expiration option, choose Never so you won't need to make a new key later. Then copy the long code that starts with sk-. OpenAI only shows it once, so paste it below right away.
Your key stays on this device. We never see it or charge you anything. Don't share your key with anyone you don't trust.
Your chats are saved only in this browser on this device. They don't sync to your phone or other computers, and nobody else can see them. Not affiliated with OpenAI.
